Need tech support on lowering the front using the stock keys

As stated in the title I want drop the front another inch using the stock keys and have never done it before. I'm already down 2" w spindles but it still needs another inch IMO. Any1 got a link they can post to help me out. Much appreciated, thx.

Get under there and unscrew the bolts till it lowers the front an inch on each side.


Should take about 3 minutes

I would recommend jacking up the front of the vehicle to release pressure off of the bars before turning the bolts.

We lowered mine an inch on the alignment rack, after driving it settled another 1/2"

I'd definitely raise it up or drive it before having it aligned.

okay ive only messed with the torsion bars on my old ford ranger but i was under the impression there already as low as they can go and you can only raise the front end

don't do it! you'll loosen the torque on the torsion bars and in effect make the suspension loose. It will probably give you a rough ride and or cause suspension components to wear faster. Just my .02¢

I replaced the worn out front shocks at the same time, so my ride actually improved.

It may not be as good as it could be but it's better than it was before.

I think the correct way would be to use 3/4 ton or aftermarket keys, but I spent $0 doing it this way.
