A few weeks ago my truck wouldn't start one morning. I wouldn't start in any gear. I thought it was the starter/+battery. I didn't notice any clicking and everything still worked when i turned the key so I eliminated both of those.
I did a little research and came across the neutral safety switch. So I changed out the switch and it drove perfectly fine for a few days. A few days ago I started back again but after a little play with the shifter it would start up. Now it seems like it's taking longer and longer.
I think I may have to check the shifter linkage on the tranny. I have read about linkage in the steering column too, but if anyone else has anything to check it would help.
