Hello Everyone. My name is Greg and I just acquired my son’s 07 Suburban. A little history on this vehicle. I helped him purchase this back in 2013 when he was fresh with two little ones, and my wife and I felt he needed a safe family hauler. My son is in the Navy and this Suburban has seen many long distance road trips from Houston to Lemoore, Ca and back on at least two occasions. Lemoore to Pensacola, Fl with a stop in Houston, and finally further to Norfolk, VA. This Burb is definately a highway car. Now my grandkids are preteens, and they now have more modern and the Burb was left by the wayside. Cracked dash, burned out DIC on Spedo, non moving driver seat, and peeling clear coat on roof, hood, and front bumper. Oh, and it has a slight tick at start up, goes away, and comes back when the truck is idling later. I know that’s a stuck lifter. I’ve been tackling the issues one by one. She’s still a good vehicle, and I’ve been driving her constantly since bringing her back from Norfolk. I plan to post my journey as I bring this truck back to its glory. No major mods planned, but upgrades are planned.
