New 2017 Tahoe from Tundra

Oh yea, it was a daily ritual. Set traps at night, check traps in morning. No food items or crumbs in the truck, yet almost always mice. I had cotton balls wth peppermint oil, dryer sheets, etc in there to "deter" them, nothing worked. Have a 2016 Explorer work vehicle parked right next to it with peanut butter protein bars inside at all times. Never a single mouse issue in it.

that is the craziest shit I have ever heard. Did the dealership offer any reason as to why they saw it?

Nope. The tech supposedly even looked at the AC ventilation illustrated part breakdown and couldn't figure out where they were coming in. They had to have been coming in the ducts, I just couldn't find where or how to stop them. Owell, I got good use out of the truck, held its value, and now I have a sweet Tahoe .

Just got back from tint shop, and had to get roof rack tightened because the rattle was annoying af.

She has a 2015 Camry. She told me I can trade it in for a truck since it's paid for, but she drives 45 mins each way to work. So it will be the commuter and the Tahoe will be the family vehicle.

Got the front windows tinted today and looking to get a hitch carrier and Thule roof carrier for it.

I have a company vehicle so we really only used the Tundra for hauling stuff and when we all went somewhere.

Not trying to be a smart ass but why not get a Suburban if you automatically require a Thule roof box and hitch carrier?

Also, I own a 2012 4Runner Limited. Over on the t4r.org forums I have seen the occasional post about rodents. Not sure they got in the cabin but I've seen stories of pests getting into the cabin air filter and I've seen a post or two about chewing wires like you alluded to.

We looked at the expedition XL and she didn't like how long they were (assuming the suburban is the equivalent). We will only need the roof carrier for longer trips or camping trips. The hitch carrier is for coolers and such on same trips.

Yea there are several people over at tundratalk that have had rodents in their cabins as well. One guy had it build a nest under the center console lid. Another had them swiping nuts from his console. It's insane how they're getting in and Toyota is taking no accountability.

Had that problem with the old x5. Every year we'd have squirrels make nest in the engine bay. Had a litter of 5 squirrel pups at one point. Chewed up headlight wires and laser jammer wires. Parked at diff spots in condo parking lot and they still found the car. Had enough so took some cat fur and shoved them in the bay and it helped til we moved out.
