Well, I can finally say im happy with how my Tahoe looks. Bought some 22's today off craigslist today and I couldn't be happier with them. They are 22x9.5 DOA Toe Tag's on 305 Toyo Proxes. No dents, pitting, curb rash or anything. 2 of the tires got a decent amount of meat, while the other 2 are just ok. Got them put on by a buddy of the guy's, and also got a new valve stem in one tire. Got the locking lugs too before I went to pick em up.

The rims retail for $500 a piece online. I bought them for $550 plus my crappy Discoverer's on beat up stock rims. I still can't believe the deal I got, the guy dropped over 3 grand on them a couple years ago he told me.

They also came with dust covers which is exactly what I wanted. They are chrome though so I decided to not put them on and im gonna paint them white over the next couple days and then put em on.

Could be just me but I think that dueces are too small for a hoe. They look almost childlike on there. But hey whatever you like right. The not so fun part is gonna be putting tires on them. The front 2 look shot in the pictures. Better address that rust too on the body. Good deal on em though

They look pretty good, just fix that rust on the door panels like biggwaukegan, that could turn ugly.

I was set to go with a set of 24's and was told that they create a lot of front end problems on these trucks. Mechanic actually said go no bigger than 20' but I can't do 20's on the dogs. Anybody know if there's any truth to this info?

You really think they look too small? I always thought 20's looked childlike, and 22's were perfect. I also like 24's too but I don't have an extra grand or so to spend lol.

And yeah that rust is getting fixed ASAP. I got a buddy that does body work that's gonna take care of all that, aswell as fix my dents, scratches and whatever else for $250.

Thanks for all the compliments though guys. :)

I think 20's only look too small if you go with a low pro tire. You gotta get something beefy to make 20's work. 22's imo work better without the extra effort. I WANTED 24's as well but wasn't prepared to 'pay the cost to be the boss' so to speak.

By the way truck looks right!
