Remote Start and TPMS

Need a little direction. I have a 2007 Tahoe LT factory - After a lightning storm, the next day the remote start and TPMS stopped responding. Did a little reading and my conclusion is that the module burnt out or was otherwise affected by the storm. What I cant figure out is exact location of this part. The dealership quoted me around $1800 for diagnostic parts and labor. As much as I like burning money, would like to try my hand at it. I know it will need reprogrammed, no worries there. Can anyone tell me where the module is?

well unless lightening actually struck the vehicle it's unlikely it had anything to do with it.
but hey anything is possible
it's also worth noting that tpms and remote start have nothing in common. i.e. tpms light will not prevent a autostart, but a check engine light would.
have you tried something basic like disconnecting the battery for a few minutes? if there was a electrical disruption this could cause a bad handshake between modules
and disconnecting the battery for a few minutes could re-initiate a good handshake and resolve a problem.
