well yeah the ride is worse but it also seems to follow any grooves in the road, and we have a bunch of them near where i live which sucks.

from Bahrain, that's pretty far away from you guys (ie, middle east), its a tiny island a few hundred miles away from dubai.

lowering is coming soon, im just trying to decide between regular 2/3 drop or airbags

what do you guys do about the rubbing? its not much, only on sharp turns

Yeah I have rubbing too man on the stock wheels, ecpect I have a 2/5 drop and not a 2/3.
I say you only lower it 2/3, next case scenario is a 3/5. Because airbags requires alot of BS nobody wants to go through lol!

as for the rubbing, its when turning the wheel to the extreme left or right. do you guys just let it be and fix itself, or is there anything u do?

I'd like to get a kit like this from Universal Air Suspension... https://www.universalairsuspension.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=227

My tires are a little bigger than yours but I've had to do some heating/cutting on the plastic wheelwell liner, and once the lowering kit was installed a rubber mallet was used to slightly bend back the inner most tip of the front fender behind the front tires to prevent rubbing.

looks good man!

Rims make a night and day difference for appearance. Ride it out for a few days and see if the natural rubbing wears out the parts it rubs, so it won't rub anymore. Thats what I did. If that doesn't take care of it or you prefer not to wait, you can get a heat gun like iwaslowr said and slightly melt/mold the plastic away were it rubs.

Yeah airbags are just too much.
When some one has 24s, the airbags can't even get you that low. Look at the pics of the Avalanche, the rear height its at can be achieved with a rear 5" coil drop w/o isolators, and as for the front, a 4" drop on a Tahoe with 24/26s is going to have the fender like .5" above the tire.
So airbags can only get one rellly low when they are parked and not driving, can drive the car that low anyways because the front camber is way out of line when aired out big wheels w/o control arm modifications.
Now if your have 22s or smealler, irbags can take you a longer way w/o all the extra BS.
Then ontop of all this, one has to worry about keeping/maintaining the system, WAY too much work lol.

How did the rubbing end up? did you just ride it out or did you take a heat gun to the plastic?
