I don't want to derail this thread. I'll create another one and post a link. I'm sure I still have plenty of pics of the truck I wish I still had!! Not that the Yukon is bad, it's just not a pickup.

Update, I had my truck back at the dealer, they road forced again, but I still had 2 wheels with over 20oz of weight. The dealership roadforce numbers were:
LF 28lbs, RF 52lbs, LR54lbs, & RR 92lbs.

The fed me some bullshine about I need to replace the tires for a better ride. The whole Denali vibrates and shakes more and more as speed increases. I still think they are very quiet on the highway and would ride fantastic if I could find a competent tire balancer.

From what I've researched those numbers suck and I'm done with that dealership. I took to a second tire shop last week, they said they got the 2 tires on the drivers side to balance, but they couldn't get the 2 on the right to balance. They deflated those 2 tires and spun them 180* and said they got under 10oz of weight on them but still not balanced good. They didn't want to pull the tires off the rims to do a match mount because they didn't want to risk scratching the rims. Tires are more than the rims!

I'm bringing it back in later this week to have all the tires match mounted and I hope it works. So f*ck*ng frustrating $1200 worth of tires that somehow only don't balance on my ride. Save some money buying the tires online and then none of the tire shops are accountable for the crap balancing. If they cannot resolve then I'm going to hunt down an authorized BFG shop and see what they can do.

Yeah sounds like you got 2 bad tires out the set, the 28 lbs and 92 are way off the scale. My last set of Toyos had 1 that was all jacked up but spun it 180 on rim then got it to balance out. Those balance machines need to be calibrated that could be part of the deal. I would talk to a shop and let them program the design shape of the wheel into the balancer then try to balance. I had to do that with my G37 wheels to get them to balance out with no vibration. It helps to define the wheel weight vs tire weight imbalance so the machine can calculate where to put the weights.

Thanks for the input. You have the valve stem on the inside of those wheels? Never saw that before! I got the wheels & tires from BB Wheels. Guy there has been nice and hasn't said we won't warranty a bad tire, just said that it would be pretty rare that I got 2 bad tires out of 4. The tire shop I took it to is a place (chain) called Matthews, they first told me I had 2 bad tires and to get some replacements. That's when I contacted BB and they said OK, what's wrong with the tires so that we can warranty. So, that's why I'm going back to get all 4 match mounted and get documentation from them on what they do so I can get replacements if the ride sucks yet. They at least seem to want to do what they can for me where the dealership was just like these tires won't ride good. They didn't say "hey these 2 measurements are way off, you have 2 bad tires that we cannot balance which create the vibration at highway speeds." At least they correctly diagnosed my bad air compressor...so I replaced with an Arnott unit!

Everywhere I look it seems like I see a set of KO2's on trucks! Saw a set on a Yukon XL this morning at the Y when I dropped my kid off!

If this shop treats me good then I'm going to buy their overpriced run flats for my wife's car, hers are just about to the wear bars. OK, I'm going to do my best to get a lower price on what they are quoting, but I'll pay a little more if their service is good!

I had 2 of the tires replaced, they said after balancing the wheels 2 of the tires still wanted over 20oz of weight each. Since they've been replaced it rides MUCH MUCH better. Still a little bit of vibration but I think that is what I'm going to have to deal with running these tires, they are not the highway tires I had before. Vibration doesn't really start until about 70MPH. Will try to rotate the tires around just to see if it gets any better. They better kick ass in snow!!!
