New bang in the HOE

So i was thinking about getting a stock radio with CD player instead of cassette tape player with a IPhone/IPod connection cable installed and getting my rid of my cassette player and removing the CD player under my HVAC knobs... My question is, Is their any good speakers with out subs or having to go with an after market amp that would fit into the door panels and ceiling that are dirrect fit.. I really want some really good after marker speakers..?

Also, if i get rid of the CD player, is their a way to instal the newer factory stereos into my 99 Hoe? if so, what kind of mods would i have to do?

kicker are good aftermarket speakers but for the rear ceiling speakers i went with pioneers they sound great and fo removal of the factory cd player under the hvac controls u can buy a delete pocket off ebay for 12bucks or do like i did and put a chevy logo check my pics out

Are the kickers plug and play and what sizes would i need for all of my speakers.. i have a 99 4wd 4 door LT

yes, should be 6.5" all the way around, if so, KS65 coax.

arent the rears( CARGO) different or am i a complete idiot i thought they were a little wider?

the cargo speakers are 4x10 i think 89% sure

Yea they're 4x10's. I've got some kicker 2 way's i mine.

where did u get the kickers from? i had to settle for pioneer

Ebay I think, I had them in my '94 blazer transplanted them over to the yukon before I sold the blazer. I like them they sound nice. I have pioneers in the doors I would love to swap out for some nice components, but that's lower on the list right now
