New battery - Dead truck

Just a few thoughts on this. For those of you having battery issues, how many amps is your alternator rated for? GM has 3 alternators for these, all are interchangeable. I'm running the 160 amp alternator and have had 0 problems. Additionally, our trucks have a second battery tray. To avoid situations where I could suffer a power drain I installed a second battery. I even went as far as hooking that battery up with a 40
