Hello,
I just purchased a new PCM with a new tune from Black Bear for my 2004 Tahoe and know of having to do the case learn. On the fullsizechevy.com forum they talk about a Theft Deterrent Password Relearn is that something that I will need to do too with changing the PCM ?
Thanks Craig

Folks who swap out PCMs, will need to perform a crank relearn. This usually costs ~$50-100 depending on the shop. With our scan cable tunes, the customer can perform the crank relearn on their own (a big reason why many wind up going this route).

With the AutoCal, you don't need to worry about the relearn.

What you will need to do when you get your traditional tune PCM:

-install
-perform a security relearn (instructions will be in the box)
-take your vehicle to a shop that has access to a Tech II for a crank relearn
