New brakes coming...

After looking at way too many posts and web sites I finally pulled the trigger on R1 Concepts Premier Slotted Rotors, Posi-Quiet ceramic pads and some SS brake lines.

Now I'm looking for a good brake bleed/flush procedure as well as break in procedure.

Who's got one?

I just went with the Baer Eradispeed big brake kit. Came with 15" drilled and slotted rotors and billet caliper relocation brackets. Also used EBC Green Stuff pads. Suburban stops WAY better than before. Can't wait to do the rear kit. Thinking about getting a set of stainless lines, too. Good choice. It'll make for a great pedal feel.

As far as the flush and bleed, I think its best done with a TECH II.

Good video, but good g-d man control the spillage. He made a huge mess, dumping the new fluid in and bleeding it out.
TIP:Use an open end wrench with the hose attached to the bleeder valve.

I have used speed bleeders in most of my previous vehicle. One man job, pretty quick and very effective.

me too but my thought was that this ABS introduced something that requires a different way...

I've successfully bled ABS brakes on 95-96 B-body cars with the pump method. It didn't work so well on our Dakota R/T, but that had rear ABS-only, which added some difficulty to te procedure. I bet you are fine with the pump method.

That skirt in the pic is not fitting properly. Something is wrong. I reckon it should be scrapped.
