Hello everyone,
I have a 2009 Yukon SLT 4x4 with a 5.3 L.
I just replaced my gauge cluster by another used one I just purchased. The newer cluster gives me alarms to check my suspension and something related to my trailer gain and output. To be specific these are:
1. Service Suspension System- which according to my manual it is related to "Autoride"... What is autoride?
2. Trailer Gain and Output- which according to manual this is for trucks with Integrated Trailer Brake Control.

I have a feeling that this cluster came from a truck with slightly different features. I don't believe my truck came with a factory control towing package...although it did come with a hitch.
How would I need to address these alarms so that they don't continue popping up every time in turn on the truck?
Any help would be appreciated.

Reprogram newer speedometer

Hello everyone,
Does anyone have experience reprogramming a speedometer on these trucks?
I just bought a used speedometer for my 2009 GMC Yukon. I would like to clone all the data from the old speedometer to the newer one. I have seen a few videos where people have done it on other type of vehicles. Some seem to connect directly to the micro controller chip and some to the EEPROM. I took a look at my speedometer and I am not sure which chip is the EEPROM. Then, I don't know if in this case there may be other alternatives.

I have seen services where they can do it for you for a reasonable price, but this is something that I would like to learn how to do it myself.

Any videos, documentation or a speedometer manual/diagram may be helpful.
Thank you!

I would have the old cluster in and running in the vehicle and take the truck and new cluster to the dealer.

Is there any reason why you recommend putting back the old cluster until the new one can be cloned?
I don't drive the truck much, as a matter fact I have driven it since I put in the newer cluster.
Is there a possibility that something could get messed up if I keep the newer cluster right now?
