Got a new ride

I drive an hour to work everyday and 12mpg don't cut it so I bought an 09 Pontiac G8 GT with the sport package. Currently has 65k miles on it and they come with a 6.0 in them. Now I can't decide if I want to lower it any or not. Maybe put an exhaust on it. I don't know what I am going to do with
