New exhaust/kit suggestions?

Hello, i was lookong for suggestions on what kind of exhaust kits i can get for my 02 tahoe. 5.3L and i swapped the camshaft for an LS6 equivalent cam from texasspeed, with new springs to match. The cam has an obvious imporvment to the exhaust note and id like to bring it out more without being over the top, raspy, or obnouxsios. Everything else is factroy at the moment. So headers to tips or cat back idc just looking for ideas

Unless you install long tube headers, you will not see a noticeable improvement, so I'd recommend that you stay with the stock exhaust manifold. The best way to find an exhaust system sound that aligns with your specific preferences, is to go to YouTube and listen to the numerous posts of aftermarket exhaust systems.

Folks here with similar exhaust sound preferences may chime in with sound samples of their exhaust systems.

A few things to consider, due to the options available, do you tow, are you looking for a like-for-like single system that exits behind the wheel, or possibly duals? Material choices of stainless or aluminized (less expense). For me the biggest issue with these cavernous vehicles is internal drone. It can really wear on you when you have an exhaust that has not specifically addressed that. For that reason I look to reputable companies such as Magnaflow and Gibson. Look for mention of drone in any systems description; another good source is YT, for visuals and sound... Are you in an emissions state? Are headers in your plan? Now would be the time to consider that as well. Have fun shopping.
