new flowmaster

hi i have an 02 tahoe with a 5.3 and i have a flowmaster super 44 and i dont think its loud enough ... i have heard other tahoes with either FL 40 mufflers and sound louder ... what can i do to make mine sound louder ??

Take the mufflers off entirely. Run it open, dumped under??

Have you installed headers yet? That'd help along with the high flow cats.

I'm really enjoying my 40's. Just got back from a 900 mile trip too and never got tired of the sound in the interior cabin.

You can dump it, but here in texas you cant get your inspection cus it is not pass the cab and fumes can get inside your suv.(something to think about before you go get that done) BTW a full dual exhaust will give you more ponies =D
