New frame vs used frame

I have a 2005 Tahoe 4x2 that was hit hard in the rear a few months back and idk which would be better, a new or used frame. Only the frame was damaged to the point where I can't get my spare out. The body didn't shift much because it still goes straight when I let go of the wheel. The only thing that I noticed is that my doors are sagging a bit but not much. I do have plans to s/c the engine & completely redo the suspension so that it can take the power and drive like a performance sedan. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't want it back at all with that much damage.

It's not as bad as it sounds and all the door gaps are still unchanged. I bought my baby brand new so there is nothing that's gonna make me part with it. Here is a picture of the damage.

thats not too bad. Usually when chevys get hit, the bumpers go under the truck. Just get a good reputable frame, body shop, to pull the frame back straight and good as new. If insurance is involved, its totaled possibly. But new frame or used, no sense in paying for a brand new frame when a used one is the same thing. Just make sure its not hit either. Main question would be, what does it look like underneath in the rear. How bad is the frame bent back there. Does it look like this ^ .

Insurance really wanted the truck but I decided to keep it. Turns out the adjuster wanted it because of he was aware of the rare options it has. The problem is that it was hit in the past but it was not as bad but this time the frame was torn a bit. Good thing it didn't get the shock mounts since I still drive it everyday. Ill post up a pic as soon as it stops pouring rain.

Whats on it thats rare? I like that color, dont see much of those. Guess thats one.

Put it on a frame straightener. You're looking at an insane amount of work to get that frame changed...

Obviously, I can't see the underside of the truck but I can't imagine, if all your gaps & panels are still in place & straight, that your frame needs replacing based on that pic.

It came from factory with the "Z71 Appearance Package" which has everything that a Z71 comes with except the 4x4 (useless in Southern California) & the Bermuda Blue paint option.

Yeah i edited my post, i just read you said 4x2, lol. Nice color though. I never knew they made a appearance package. Learn something everyday. Saves money on painting it all if you wanted to. (door handles, bumpers, etc.)
