Hi all, recently acquired a 97 2 door tahoe black w grey cloth. About 146k on clock. Has ls badging but when I did a vin search It stated base. Body has no rust or rot which is tremendously rare around Massachusetts. Has a couple body blemishes and scratches but overall I'm happy. Has factory plastic running boards and I'm concern they make cause body issues. Any thoughts on that? Also, I have a set of rims and tires of a 98 Sierra that are 285/70/17. Think they will squeeze onto the hoe?

Welcome. New here too.
I have an 01 tahoe that came with 16" rims and now I have a set of 08
Factory 20s on there with only a lil scrub when backing up at full lock.
I would put em on and try it out
