Iam a new owner of a 99 yukon. Kinda a dumb question my back windows only go down like four inches. is it a child safety thing or is that how thay are? Thankyou for the add

most likely if both are doing it, it's a child safety feature. I wish they had a switch to over ride it.

It's normal. My 95 is the same way

The window can't go all the way down because of the wheel well. It goes down the amount it can until the rear corner of the window would collide with the top of the wheel well. Look at it from the side

Thank you for the clarification. was kinda starring at it the one night and thought bout that lol. guess itll be a warm ride for people in the back on the way to south dakota lol. ac needs redone
