I just purchased a black 1996 Yukon GT w/ a 6" lift, roof rack, etc.... My dream truck I've wanted forever. On my way home, I rear ended someone and jacked up my front end :chair:. So I need a new grill, headlights, and hood and i have a couple questions:

Will a hood off a 1999 tahoe fit my GT?
When I look up grills, and billet inserts, there is always a disclaimer about not fitting Denali packages, and "sport" packages... Obviously, the Denali I'm not worried about, but will these grills/inserts fit my GT given the "sport" disclaimer (they look exactly the same as my old grill... but I want a perfect fit)?
LED headlights? LED Tails?

Also, when I bought it it was throwing a p1345 code and the timing chain was sloppy so I replaced that and lined everything up but now my SES light comes off and on (same code), and I can't figure out why it is doing that intermittently. Thoughts?

This forum is rad, and I'll throw up some pics here in a bit.

Yes the hood will fit. The inserts should fit your truck as it is not a sport grille. Check the distributor and make sure the hold down is tight. Could be a lot of slop in the dizzy gear, but I would think that would cause misfires. The cam sensor in the distrubutor may be bad as well, but have no idea why the light is intermittent.

Thanks. The SES light comes on right when I start it (and stays on), but, like I said, sometimes it doesn't come on (and won't come on while driving). I've only driven it a couple times since I replaced the timing chain, but I can't pass emissions w/ the light on.

IT starts up perfect every time, rides smooth, sounds great, no rough idle or anything... Maybe the sensors?

From what I understand that code is due to too great of error in the cam and crank sensors talking to each other. I know that on the crank, you have to do a system relearn and I think only the dealership or someone with a tech 2 scanner can do it. If didn't have that done then that could be the problem. How many miles are on it?

Possibility that the distributor gear is worn too. They are known for wearing out. Could also be a problem.
