New Guy from San Diego/Park City/Looking to get a 16-18

I'm from the 2006 area of the forum and looking at getting a 2016 Tahoe LTZ from a family member. Has the SISI, VVT, AFM and E85 aluminum engine with 6 speed. 60k miles. They have done all the service, not sure if the trans has been serviced.
Is there a BlackBear AFM delete for this engine? Should I do that? Also, how are people cleaning the valves (SIDi)? What other things should I be looking out for?

wth is SISI and SIDI?
they all have afm/vvt, and the 2015+ motor are all direct injected
BB can tune the engines and trans except the 10speeds, they are still locked as far as I know

I had a typo SISI should have been SIDI (direct injection).

Do the valves get crudded up and is walnut blasting the only solution?

BB Performance got back to me re. a 2016 5.3. You are right they offer a tune that disables the AFM and it can be returned back to stock. Not sure if the CA SMOG check can pick that up or not or if I would have to put the stock file back in the engine controller.
