The stock front brakes on the 2021 trucks are 13.5" rotors. The Brembo kit is what has the 16" rotors.
A-Ha! Thanks, I obviously misread the posts I saw. Thanks for the clarification!

Actually, that will work. It will then match my 928S, which has 4-piston Brembo's. :D

The Escalade hit 125,000 miles on Friday. So...oil change time. I like to do oil changes on my newer vehicles at 5000 miles. 125,000 is a good round number to start at.

Nothing really noteworthy. I installed a NAPA Gold 7045 filter at the suggestion of this forum, and refilled the crankcase with 6qts of Mobil 1 5W-30. NAPA Gold or WIX are my filters of choice and I run Mobil 1 Synthetic in all my junk. Except the GM HT3400 crate engine in the S-10. We don't talk about that one.

Also replaced the B&M V1-A remote transmission filter with a NAPA Gold 1269 hydraulic filter. Thanks for the suggestion gooffeyguy! It is good until next year.

NAPA Gold 1269 hydraulic filter for the remote transmission filter.

Drained and refilled the transfer case fluid again. I did this because I don't know the history of the fluid changes for the transfer case. The old fluid was more brown than I liked when I first changed it on 10/13. So, I felt a second change was warranted to flush anything out. Granted, the fluid I drained this weekend was nice and red. It is what it is, and I am OK wasting a little money on fluid. Now it is good until next year.

NOTE: My paranoia for yearly transfer case fluid changes stems from my Explorer. It had a BW4404 single speed transfer case with a viscous coupling. It did not like to be abused or run hot. So it got fluid changes every year. My Escalade has the BW4485 single speed transfer case with the planetary coupling. I am still getting a handle on how it wears. So, it too will get yearly fluid changes. $15 and an hour of my time. No big deal.

Sucked out and refilled the PS fluid reservoir again. I have gone through 3qts of Lubegard synthetic PS fluid, and it is just about clean.

Finally got around to installing the little sheet metal plug in the bell housing. I know it is nothing, but I don't like having the open hole to the flexplate and ring gear.

The catch can has only been installed for a little under 300 miles, but I figured I'd open the drain valve just because. And was shocked when something came out! I got some oily water out of the catch can. Less than an ounce, but it existed.
Hmmm...I will start checking this every 1000 miles until I get a feel for how much is generated. Definitely glad I installed the catch can!

This weekend, I finished going through the brakes. New pads, turned rotors, new hardware for the caliper brackets, drag reduction clips, new parking brake shoes, and bled the brakes again.
I will generate a thread for all that soon.

My point is, I am finally caught up in what I believe to be all of the pertinent maintenance for this Escalade. Now to drive the wheels off of it!

I need to do my power steering fluid, it's looking pretty dark. What kind did you use?
I took the advice of this forum and have been using Lubegard 23232 Synthetic PS fluid. A little pricey at $15/qt at my local O'Reily's, but it comes well recommended.
