New halo headlight...Install questions?

i bet there are some nuts on the back of your stock lights.. you'll reuse those and when you screw them on the light it will cut its own threads.. <--dont quote me just guessing thats how some of the emblems are

Well that actually makes alot of sense. Im guessing thats how its mounted because i cant think of any other way. I know people have done this and know how to do it, come guys help a the new guy out.
