How long has it lasted for you? As in did they eventually yellow up again or did the clear start peeling off?

Figured it all out. I bought Meguiar's G3000 Heavy Duty Headlight Restoration Kit last night. I used it on the 2003 Mazda MPV we own that was completely clouded over. Figured it could be the guinea pig since it would be no loss lol. They came out like new. I was completely amazed. Now I just need to get some rustoleum clear coat and Im good to go. lol. Until the next time....

Just out of curiosity has anyone used the HIDguys headlights? Ive read on here a lot of folks say the retros suck and stuff for light output and what not. His seem really cheap. Are they any good? The silverstars are good bit brighter but at the same time I want long life just cause it sucks so bad to change them lol.

Yeah, it won't last long unless you get some UV protection. They look awesome at first, but seem to yellow almost twice as fast.

We got a new set of OEM light modules. The things look like jewels when you pull them from the box. I'm waiting until the originals are just useless to install these new ones.

Don't mean to hijack the thread OP.

I need new headlamps bad as they are hazy and mounting tabs are broken. I bought a pair of Eagle eye headlamps but the fit was not good at all. The mounting tabs did not line up with the mounting holes. I am afraid to order any headlamps, but yet I don't want to pay 250 per headlamp at the dealership.

Was thinking about ordering the Spyder oem replacements of Carid (not projectors), any one here has any experience with Spyder? I've heard good and bad things about them.
