First post, new member here.

Hey folks,
Hoping to get some wheel + tire advice.
I have a 2017 Tahoe Z71 - stock. Looking to change out the wheels and found a used set of GMC Sierra's that have identical specs as the existing - 20", 6 x 5.5 bolt pattern (see attached photos). My current tires are Continental Cross Contact 275/55/20 and the tires that come on the GMC wheels are BFGoodrich all-terrain 285/55/20.

My question is, will the new tires fit my current Tahoe setup without any modifications? Will there be a difference in performance or feel between the 275 vs. 285 tires? Thank you!

Welcome to the Forum from NH.

Lots of knowledgeable folks here who freely share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. Knowledge is power.

I hope that you will become a participating member in the Forum's discussions.

LOTS of threads here in this Forum about tire recommendations. What type of surfaces that you drive on, what weather environment you live in, and how you want the truck to 'feel' and sound are all critical to the choice of tire, and they are all addressed in these threads.

I think the Tahoe would look pretty BA with those wheels and tires. I like tire size calculator for this sort of thing. They should fit just fine. I attached 2 pics of comparison.

My 2017 Denali came with 22 inch wheels and they are almost exact to what the Sierra wheels you found are. No issues at all with my OEM setup, so you should be good.

Thank you for your help. Also found a local set of gloss black AT4 take offs that I prefer. They come with 275/60/20 Bridgestone tires, so I think I would like to swap them out for stock 275/55 Michelin Defenders.
