New Instrument panel/guages installed

can i get them replaced if nothing is wrong with mine? they've already replaced the cluster once for a faulty oil pressure gauge.

if they already replaced it, you probably have the redesigned steppers in the new cluster.

Glad a friend of mine called me tonight and told me about this.... mine just started acting up about a month ago. Checking my VIN and calling dealer tomorrow if I fall in the 'group'.

i know what you mean my 01 yukon is pushin 230,*** with a faulty oil gauge

I just did mine and it was easy. Look the dude up on ebay that sells a set of 6 stepper motors for $47. Took me a lunch hour to replace. (note: I work at an electronics company with killer soldering irons)

yeah, probably so. well, at least i hope so. lol knowing the dealer i took it to, they probably went the cheapest route they could at the time.

i would like to put a trans temp gauge in one of these days though.
