My brakes are like that. They leak Abit but right now they have air but it will go away after driving. I've driven it with those brakes since I got it running last year. Just thought it was normal lol. But head steel brake lines are probably on my to do list some time in the future

Codes say 'lean' bank 1 & 2 o2 sensoe

My 99 Yukon slt 5.7 Vortec has those codes and the CEL comes on periodically, usually after i've driven for 20+ mins but never stays on. Today, it cut off twice while driving almost as if it were out of gas, it did it last month once and I cleaned the MAF, and hasnt done it agai until today....Where are the bank 1 & bank 2 o2 sensors? And when u say after or before the CC does that mean comming from the tailpipe or 'after' as if comming from the front of the truck? Secondly, are all the 02 sensors on the truck the same or are they different for each bank? BTW, the codes are saying p0131 and p0171, when i removed the MAf it appeared blackened but i dont know if it should be that way or not...Thanks in advance guys

unknown at this time.
Bank 1 left cylinder head. Bank 2 right cylinder head. sensor 1 in front of converter. sensor 2 after converter. side to side is the same front to back is different. Clean maf with maf spray cleaner. p 0131 is lack is low voltage from bank 2 sensor 1. right front. p0171 is lean left bank. Clean the maf and that might go away on its own.

Check the condition of the brake line along the driver side frame rail. My obe has been in Illinois and Missouri for the last ten years. Many winter seasons had completely corroded that line and it finally sprung a leak. Nearly crashed if it wasn't for my e-brake. Two weeks leading up to that event was a spongy brake pedal.

Just giving you a heads up.

Thanks all! I will inspect the lines much closer this time around. I still have yet to change out the fluid and bleed. Fluid is black! Ill first start with an inspection of lines and rear drums. Then remove the old fluid from the res with a syringe and replace with new DOT4. Then do a full bleed.
