new magnaflow

A coworker of mine told me about his buddy that does exhaust work. He know him very well and told me he could get me a killer deal installed. I have magnaflow before and i was happy with that. I also have a gibson ss sideswept on my 89 sierra. Gave me a better deal on the magnaflow part #11249. There is nothing wrong with my stock piping so i had him cut out the oem Muffler which is practialy the size of my accord gas tank. thing must of been like 30 pounds judging by the sound of it hitting the floor. Also we cut the resonator off and did a dual tip out the back. Spent about 2hrs with him and im happy as a pig in mud. he made needed pipes to fit the muffler in place along with the new tip face out the rear. When he was done, he Cleaned and painted the welds, Checked for leaks with a stethoscope. Final cost, 360 installed

I had a 5 x 12 22" Magnaflow muffler and it was a tad to quiet.
Now I have a 4 x 9 14" Magnaflow muffler and it is a tad too loud, but I like it better now.

i cant verify performance gains, it dosent save you gas because you want to punch it all the time. it sounds so good. either way if you do it, You would probably like the outcome
