Looks good man! Welcome to the forums! :welcome: I like the long intro... it gives us a nice history of your vehicle. You've got a nice set of rides/projects. I agree on the hood swap but all in good time. An SS hood would definitely look sweet on there! Happy to have you here!

Lookin good man !

Im not one to criticize but " Just say NO to Stick on hood scoops!"

Nice clean ride man!

BTW hows it run with the 383?

Stock or votec heads? Intake? Computer tuning for the bigger motor?

Different Fuel regulator or pump?

I'd like to mod mine next spring.

Yea guys im gonna look into some differant hood options cus i really do hate the stick ons, i already had to fix them once because the front would start liftin on the highway :signs8: like i said only reason ive kept them is cus the hood was repainted with them on

but on the 383 i actually am running stock everything....i thought the same thing when my engine builder was making it 383, i figure i would get it tuned and have to buy an intake and TB, but he had already done a couple for other guys and he told me they ran fine with the stock parts.

And hes right the truck has a ton of torq now, TOWS SO MUCH BETTER and its running stock heads, stock intake, stock fuel pump ,stock tune.....

i know i could get some more out of her by changing my heads , intake etc.. and i might do this later but for now she runs basically like a stock truck but i have a little more torq it feels like

Thanks for the info bud!

Yeah a good tune and an adjustable fuel regulator will really wake it up, Vortec heads and a cam would really be sweet!

Now i wanna build the engine in my hoe! But i'll prob swap a 5.3 , 6.0 or an LS1 in it.
