New member here, just bought an 08 Suburban LTZ.. My dream vehicle.. Unfortunately having some issues.. Drivers door controls have completely stopped working, I mean everything. They do return occasionally, but have been off for a couple of days now.. Now finding out that I have no rear air... Dealer thinks its a body control module which sounds reasonable, my question is does the bcm control the rear air as well? Unfortunately out of warranty.. checked the 30 amp fuse for the rear air which is good, relay maybe? Any ideas on any of this? I like to fix things myself to save a few bucks, so I told the dealer to hold off on the $599 to replace the bcm, wanted to research a bit first..

Thanks,
Jeff

You didn't get any warranty at all? 30 days? 90 days? If it was a GM certified vehcile, you should have gotten a 12 month bumper to bumper warranty I think.

Okay....so tonight I reset the bcm by just disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, the door came back up and is working for now, rear air is still not...I did notice that I had condensation from the rear unit so I wonder if I have a rear blower resistor or relay issue...is the rear blower back on the passenger rear behind the wheel well...was thinking that is where all of the rear air equipment is located...

Well I actually found the rear components and found a loose connection...rear blower is back up and running okay for now...a lot of things seem quirky with this thing...have a boat trip over memorial weekend so I hope everything holds together...lol...had my windows stinted Saturday and I bet something happened there...I know he pulled some panels to get the tint down below the trim...and right after that is when I noticed the rear air thing...should say my passengers noticed...
