Get two or three quotes on full repaint. That would be the starting point for any monetary compensation.

Sorry to hear about that, hope you are enjoying the vehicle scratches and crappy dealer aside.

Thanks for the advise, and no I am not enjoying the vehicle. The dealer has had it longer than I have at this point. There are several more issues with the truck interior that they are replacing. Seems that the 1000 miles that it had on it were used not to demo for test drives but for someone's personal vacation. So the plastic pieces that are scratched in the back are being replaced along with a couple other things.

Yeah, well that stinks.

I'll rephrase - hope you enjoy the vehicle once it gets fixed, repainted, repaired and you get some money in your pocket....

The Tahoe is still at the dealership. The dealer is replacing all interior parts that needed to be replaced so that is a good thing. I am still not happy with the 8 scratches on the truck. The body shop said they would have to repaint both sides of the truck. The body shop does not want to and does not recommend repainting over a brand new factory paint job. Specifically with the White Diamond he is totally against it. So basically I am forced to live with the scratches.

okay you should have gotten alot more taken off the price if it had a 1000 miles on becuase its no longer a new vehicle every new vehicle ive bought from ford had less the 30 miles on it
id do some research find body shop that does really good paint work
and tell the dealership that you want it repainted at a body shop of your choosing
theyll try to get off the hook with a 300 dollar earl shibe or maaco job

I know I should have gotten much more taken off the price of the truck. I was told that it was a transfer and not a demo. They agreed to fix everything, however the paint is the big issue. No one wants to touch it. I purchased the truck on 13 Jan 15. I have had less than 5 days total. It would be nice just to start all over with the entire process at this point, but that isn't happening.

Geeze they should practically be making your first payments on it by now. It sounds like they are really dragging their feet... I can't think of a single thing that would take nearly a month for a dealership to figure out. Maybe they could buy it back?

WDT is very difficult to match from what I've gathered so that's where the hesitation comes from. But as stated above, it sounds like the dealer is trying to make it right when they really don't have to. Once you take delivery its on you.
