I actually found a couple pictures of my Tahoe when it was in police service in Hutchinson Kansas. The light holes and sticker remnants all line up.

Going to try it out at an autocross tomorrow!

Where at, and what affiliation do the organizers have? The Tarheel Sports Car Club do events close to me (in central NC), and they don't allow trucks or SUV's. I think it'd be fun!

Yeah I really wanted to autocross it with the pursuit tires on it, but after reading between the lines in the SCCA rules the PPV is about 2-3 inches too tall to compete. So I took my 97 C5 instead, and had fun.

I'm getting my Unity spotlight factory rebuilt, and am tempted to go with a chrome light, for a classic look? I can always re-spray it black down the road.

I don't really like the glossy black plastic finish that easily scuffs, and after the chromed plastic got scuffed up, I would paint it with a matte black Plasti-dip anyway,
