Here are a few pics of my 2013 Suburban with the
AIRAID 200-996 MIT installed on the stock air filter box.
Not sure if there is any difference between the years and trim levels.

As far as cleaning the engine bay, I usually bag the alternator. Then use a liberal amount of water and Simple Green or Formula 88 and a toothbrush if it is bad in the tiny areas, rinse and repeat. I'll usually finish off with some 303 to dress it up nicely.
I'm sure you already knew all that, but it keeps my engine bay clean.
