Hey everyone, just switched to a 2011 Chevy Tahoe LT, Taupe Gray Metallic from my old 2003 Merc C-320.
Loving it so far, although its only day 1 and i already have to leave her as i'm taking a train down to Miami for a few days, can't wait to get back.
Well, basically here because so far my 2 cars have been a lexus IS250 and the C320, both of which I modded and played with, and thoroughly enjoyed, but it was time for something a little bigger. So hello lol, I've got the basics of the car down, get to set all my DIC options when I get back.
If anyone wants to give me a brief rundown of the basics i'd appreciate it, I've been reading for the past week but still a few unknowns i've come across.
Best interior LED kit? where to get/which are the best replacement Bowties/emblems? I've looked alot into the suspension lowering, pedders and bilstein, both I like but some of the parts i'm a little lost on.. In my older smaller cars to lower all you needed was a set of springs, or coilovers if you wanted to lower it alot and improve handling. Whats the difference with the tahoe's suspension? I was looking at the pedders kit and it has spindles? and A control arms? i'm guessing i'd need new shocks as well? can the stock shocks handle a stiffer spring rate that would be on a lowering spring?
