Ok so we bought our new-to-us '99 Z71 4wd 4dr 'hoe a couple of months ago and have had some problems with the steering wheel "slipping" i guess you could say. It has 212k miles but, I have read that I can replace the speed sensitive steering sensor, replace the steering pump with a '95-'96 model pump, or get a bypass kit. Does anyone have any experience with any of these options, and how did it work out for you?
Also, looking to do a rear brake conversion from drum to disc. What is a good kit to get? Not looking to spend $1k on it like most of the stuff I have seen. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
