Hey peeps, I recently upgraded my wife’s 2011 Suburban LT. I found a good deal on a 2015 Escalade ESV from a private seller. It is in truly excellent condition. We love it so far! It’s a far cry from the suburban in every way!

Heck yeah! I have a 2018 Escalade with the 10-speed which is 30-40% better gas then the previous generation. Check the cabin air filter. The 8-speed had issues so you may want to check into that too.

Welcome to the club. The 8 speed is great once you get the fluid flushed and changed to the updated type. When you get that done get a fast relearn done and it fixes alot of the concerns with the 8 speed. Tons better than the 6 speed for longevity and the 6.2 is a huge step up.

I agree with SPY, the fuel mileage is a huge plus. Mine gets 15 mpg towing, and about 22-23 rolling 80 without a trailer.

Hey, thanks! I think mine actually has the 6 speed. I heard some of the early builds had it. When it’s in manual mode it won’t go past 6th gear.

Yeah, the early ones had the crest in the grille, and the later went to the updated badging.

Just do the cooler bypass reprogram by Superior that will keep the trans cooler and help keep it going longer for sure!
