6.2L Unless you never tow, but rented a 5.3 Burb from LA to Palms Springs and many times wished I had the 6.2. Then again, I tow frequently. Premium is a must, but let’s face it, at the price of these to start with what’s an extra few $?...lol...

Unless your get the Max Trailering package on the Tahoe or Suburban i will agree the truck isn't great to tow with.
With the Max Trailering package the gear ratio is changed (3.42 axle ratio), second you get a trailer brake controller (for me this is a must when towing) and 4WD models include 2-speed active transfer case. The gear ratio change is such a great thing for the 5.3L.

YES YES what wrong everyone want to jumps into the first year of new model don’t we all know the gremlins are all in the new model first years
