Ok,

Finished up installing the new system I ordered from Crutchfield last week!

Pioneer head-unit with IPOD, CD, AM-FM Radio
AND,
4 Infinity Reference speakers

Still have to do the front door speakers but the backs are done!

I'm a little surprised, I thought those Infinity's were 2Ohm. Either way, how do they sound compared to the stockers, as I've been eying them up as replacements.

And did you get the free headphones with your order, or did that expire?

Looking good. I know you like having the IPOD controls. I know my component set said 2ohm and 4ohm compatible.

True Four Ohms— All Reference speakers feature two ohm voice coils. Original factory-installed speaker wiring in many cars is 18-22 gauge. This wire, and heating in the voice coil when power is applied, increase the impedance “seen” by the amplifier or head unit. The impedance of Reference Speakers has been adjusted to compensate for this increase and can be safely driven by any head unit.

this info is from infinitys site

Those speakers were 2.6 something when I metered them. They pull a bit more power from the head unit/amplifier due to the lower impedence, that model sounds pretty good for what they cost too.

Got the free headphones! These speakers have WAY more sound quality then the stockers. Well worth the money like Max said.

IPOD Controls are the best! Always get questions about it at school.

Speakers are excellent quality both for the sound and price!
