Picked up a new Tahoe LTZ last week. She is loaded with just about every option out there. I wanted the 20" wheels but we really didn't like all the chrome. We decided on a white Tahoe and I think the chrome on the truck actually compliments the white.

I was looking for an active Tahoe forum so here I am. I don't plan any real mods. I ordered some Weathertech floor mats and splash guards. Not sure how the splash guards will look but I'll give it a try. They are no-drill and they fit and looked great on my last truck. I'll also add the Fumoto valve as I've had one on my last three vehicles and they are great for oil changes.

I may try to replace the gold bow ties with some black ones, but more to follow later. Black seems to be a pretty popular color on this forum but I just don't have the time to keep her shinning. My wife already has a black car that is a handful. Black does look great all cleaned up.

Nothing special but here are a couple pictures.

IMO- No, oil still drains just fine. I've never sat around waiting for the oil to drain out. I've heard one or two complaints online of folks saying the oil drains so slow with the Fumoto drain valve. I've never seen it but I'm not usually in a hurry when doing oil changes either. If the oil is warm and you open the oil fill cap on top of the motor, the oil flows just fine.

Thanks for the nice comments folks.

Hmm. i may need to look into getting a few. Ive done oil changes on my girlfriends grandprix in the middle of winter while she was at college out in a parking lot. That sucked and i wish i would of seen this valve a lot sooner! haha

Your LTZ was my first choice! Very nice! But my daughter found the Z71 with ebony interior and wanted it instead.

I vote you leave it just like it is! Being stock will increase the resale value too when you decide to sell it.
