My mothers escalade you cannot hear the blatant "CLICK CLICK CLICK" sound when you unlock the car or use the turn signal.... maybe ill get a video up soon.

Good question, and how does it look without the Esky applique?? Does the light stick out horribly? I want to do these tails so bad, but don't feel like chasing down and painting appliques...

Those look nice, I want to get them as they will go great with the esky 3rd brake light. But the cost of a set of gen 5 tails and esky appliques is a bit much , probly go w/ gen 4 tails and call it a day

How does it look without? Well, it looks like it's missing the Esky appliqués. lol Seriously, folks "get away with it," but the shapes are clearly nothing like one another. When you get the Esky ones on there, you realize just how "right" it all looks (and that it didn't look right before).

Check with Robbie (SuperchargedSS). He tracked me down Esky appliqués from a junk yard connection of his. I had 'em painted and they look brand new.
