if i ported my TB myself, and did a hack job, that could cause my idle to be too high and cause my service engine light to come on for a idle air control valve right? i ported it and polished it and the light came on 5 minutes after i started it. replaced the IAC, reset the computer, and it came back so i returned the IAC. thinking its just my throttle plate allowing too much air in because i messed it up, sound possible?
