Hi guys, just put a new throttle body on my 07 Yukon Denali XL, dealership performed throttle relearn. Still getting limp mode after 24 hours of driving. Codes are P1516 and P2101. I am going crazy with this.

Did the dealer diagnose the TB? It is quite likely that the TECH2 will pinpoint the issue on your first component replacement, it would definitly tell you what your TB is doing. Hopefully it is what the dealer used? $250 shipped to your door in 10 days with the firmware allready installed, plug it in and stop the stress of not knowing wtf is wrong with your vehicle. No disrespect, Im not hacking on you but you just cant "guess fix" these computer controlled cars, I just got my TECH2 and am in no way claiming to be proficient in the use of it but i can now communicate with the car and the car can communicate with me.

if the throttle body was replaced and the problem still occurs randomly then you might have a problem with the wiring harness, it's been known to happen before.....a wire may break inside the insulation and loose the connection and trip a trouble code. you can sort of troubleshoot it yourself get a helper to give it some rev's while you wiggle the wire connector around and see if the code pops up, sometimes it doesn't occur but it's worth a shot, otherwise it may take a bit more troubleshooting with a meter
