I had cooper discoverer atp on my sierra. Went 20k before I sold it. They still had 9/32 at 20k. Very little road noise. But definitely not as smooth as my michelins.

I've had BFG AT's and Nitto Terra Grapplers. Both were great AT tires. Just ordered some 33" Cooper Zeon LTZ's (275/60/20) and excited to try get em put on when I get home. My best friend had them on his 08 denali and they rode really smooth.

Sup Fellow Halliburton Hand!!

Search my posts about tires, Ive had LOTS of AT tires and im stuck on the Falken Wild Peaks. Got my 2nd set (this time in 18', 325 60), and they blow the Nittos away. Seriously, cant say enough good stuff about them. 55k warranty as well :)

Thanks for the replies......TxDrewski what made the Wild Peaks so much better than all the other AT's you had?

They are a 10ply tire but weigh less than most of the others. The tread design is super nice for cleaning out and they are like glue in wet conditions. They are extremely smooth and quiet on the road. They wear far far better than most others, especially the Nittos and the BFG's. The Coopers would definitely be my #2, but expect to pay 200-300 more per set. The 55k warranty is a steal as well. The nittos were probably the worst riding. They were extremely stiff and took forever to warm up and not flat spot. Once they got to about 50% tread life, any little groove or uneven spot in the road, trust me they would find it and ride right along with it. I really did not like those tires. However I will say that even @ 30% Tread, they never got me stuck. At my local sears, I paid 980 bucks mounted balanced and installed, with the Certificates of Free Replacements for the Falkens in 18". I paid 707 for the same tires and set up in 16" from Sears. I just think for the price you cant go wrong. YouTube some Videos.
