Will there be much difference in the amount of trimming needed with the 305 compares to the 295 with the wheels I have. I want the beefiest look I can get but I'm trying to stay away from trimming metal.

The higher the number the wider the tire. The wider the tire the more you will have to trim. So my educated guess is yes, the 305 will most likely rub a little more then the 295. The 305 tire is so much wider and has a meaner stance IMO. If you do not care about trimming your wheel well, then definitely get the 305.
