Hi everybody,
Just joined, though I've been poking around here for awhile getting ideas. Cleaning up my '95 2Dr 4wd Yukon. Trying to do everything I can to this former Michigan truck (aka rusty) without going frame- off.
The ride height is great. I guess I really want to keep the exterior looking mostly stock. I've had it since '99 and put over 200k miles on the original motor, second trans. It was getting pretty tired. Looked at all of the new truck choices out there and nothing appeals to me like my '95, so time to make it new again!
I'm having the restoration done by a GM truck resto specialist. He'll do pretty much anything unless his experience recommends against it. So as I come up with ideas, I'll bounce them off you guys first, then go to him to see how much extra it'll cost me.
Looking forward to our conversations.
Thanks!
