New to me 2002 Z71

I got this vehicle a few days ago, from a really cool dude in my neighborhood. I found the truck on craigslist and as he was giving me directions to his house to take a look at it I realized we lived in the same neighborhood, talk about a coincidence! But man does it feel good to be back in a nbs. The luxury and comfort is way better than my old obs. Looking forward to doing some mods to it, but for now I just have some pics post detail this morning:

I already did red LED's in the gauges and I am in the process of painting the bowtie as we speak. Then I have some clear corner lamps coming in the mail. I would love to get some new rims, cleaning brake dust off of alloys is a royal PITA!

Yeah it'll be tough during school and not working much, but I will figure it out. I've decided that this years tax returns are going to buy some new wheels. Now I have to figure out what direction I want to go in with it......

Ahh,

I personally would prefer to lift this vehicle, only because the Z71 package is more suited for a lift IMO, however a lift is waaaay more loot than a drop, so we will see....
