New to the forum and I need help

Thanks Iceworm your reply is a big help. I do have a big trans cooler. I also have a good brake controller. I will be looking into a good oil cooler. I will also be draining my radiator and putting in some new coolant and flushing it out. I will also be running full synthetic oil. Thanks again for the reply. I've got a question. If you replace your trans cooler how do you know what size to get? If you get too big the trans won't get up to temp right? Or is bigger better in this case?

I've never heard of a trans cooler being too big. However, there are plenty of things I have not heard of.

My inclination would be to get the best cooling I could that will fit fairly easily - not necessarily the biggest, but the best cooling. Balance that with ease of installation.

I usually work to two principles:
Do it once if possible.
If some is good - more is better.

I try to not work to the principle of:
For those for whom "too much" is barely enough.
But, sometimes I do that too.
