New to the fourm

Godo Morning All,

I am new to using forums and this fourm in particular. We have a 2007 GMC Yukon SLT 4x4. I had to replace the fuel pump assembly about a month ago. Since then I have had a few problems.

1. The first is that I can not fill up the tank without having the pump stop several dozen times.
2. Then second is that it is getting horrible fuel milage. There is no check engine light on and it seems to have a slight miss.
3. The fuel guage is nto accurate at all. It goes all over the place so now I have had to go by milage. And to be safe I just go 200 miles or so before the long fill up.
4. The final thing is that I was driving it yesterday and three time it just died as I let off the accelerator.

I have been reading things to do with the evap system and I am leaning tward troubleshooting that first. Any advice with this would help a lot. Thank you in advance for reading. Have a great day!

You replaced the fuel pump, this is part of the sending unit and could contribute to your fuel gauge problems if the wiring was compromised. Bad ground? Another bad fuel pump?

You need to post your running questions in another section like the engine and drivetrain section.

Sounds like problems 1 and 3 are definitely fuel pump related. Should be under warranty if it was just replaced (not sure about the labor unless you did it yourself). Problem 2 could be fuel related, but it could also be something else. Im sure someone else will chime in on that.
