I'm new to the site. I have a 1999 Tahoe 4 wheel drive with 172,000 miles. I use the truck as a work truck for cutting firewood and hauling it in my trailer. I have decided to replace the front hubs on my rig. At slow speeds I'm getting the ABS activated due to the bearings going bad. I just need some info as far as spindle nut size and torque. The only reference I found was 36 mm for the hub nut and I've heard 200 lbs for the torque but the Haynes manual says 165 foot pounds. I also saw 133 foot pounds for the three bolt on the back side of the hub and wondered if this is correct. I could kick myself for not joining earlier. I've had to do the drivers door handle repair and the taillight assembly circuit board repairs without any guidance from anyone.
