So I just purchased not only my first financed vehicle, but my first GMC as well!

Bruunhilda is a 1999 GMC Yukon 4X4 Limited Edition, with the 5.7 Vortec. She has 224000 miles, all the options, and rides and drives like a Cadillac!

I have so far been very impressed with the amount of buttery smooth power on tap from the 5.7, but I WANT MORE!

I have come to the forum for ideas, guidance, and the general sense of brotherhood that seems to heavily emanate from these forums.

Everything I do is on a budget, and I have always been of the creed that getting upgrades from the junk yards is not only economical, but a hell of a lot of fun too!

I am in the St. Louis-ish Missouri area, and am always looking for car shows, meet ups, and cruises.

I am no stranger to high performance, or off-road vehicles...

Twin turbo 1988 Mitsubishi Starion

LT1 powered 1987 Mitsubishi Starion

1st generation Mitsubishi Eclipse, fully gutted, swapped 6 bolt, forged internals, and 60-trim turbo

2nd generation Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX (Not modified, but a damned fun little car)

1992 3000GT VR4 with enough mods to put it 585 AWHP (Paid 200 fro the car out of the junkyard, put only 1000 bucks into it)

1997 Mitsubishi Montero (Lifted, super swampers, supercharged, E85 tuned)

1997 Ford Expedition 5.4 (Cammed, ported, exhaust, hedders, 2 inch lift)

1998 Volkswagen Jetta Wolfsburg Edition (Turbo, methanol injection, E85 tune, upgraded injectors)

Not a single one of these vehicles, did I spend more than 3500 dollars on... and that includes the purchase price! God bless junkyards and CraigsList!
